DIY: Heart Shaped Boild Eggs {Anniversary Week}

In a week’s time it will be Hottie mc Hot Hot and my anniversary. This week I will post DIY posts that will be love inspired. Because I am 100% sure he does not read my blog, he will be surprised by multiple crafty gifts that I am sure he’ll find quirky and love each and everyone. At least I hope so…

First, I will wake him on the day with breakfast in bed! Here’s how to create these pretty-pretty heart-shaped eggs:

  • Supplies

  1. An egg
  2. Cardboard (I used the corner of a cereal box)
  3. A pencil/ chopstick/ skewer
  4. 2x elastic bands
  • Step 1: Boil the egg. For the first minute, stir the water to make sure the yolk is in the middle when you cut it.

  • Step 2: Place the peeled boiled egg in the folded cardboard, and secure the pencil with the two elastic bands.

  • Step 3: Leave to cool

  • Step 4: Once it is cool, remove the elastic bands, pencil and cardboard and cut the funny shaped egg in half.
