12 Days of Christmas: DIY Pepper&Mint Body Scrub

Xmas is in jar with this easy (yet delicious) scrub! The pepper and mint flavours are also suitable for men who enjoy pampering.

DIY: Pepper & Mint Body Scrub

  1. Supplies: Epsom Salt (you can use sugar too, but I prefer Epsom salt for all its benefits), olive oil, mint essential oil, ground pepper, jar
  2. The rule of thumb for this scrub is to use 2 parts salt for one part oil.Fill the jar to 2/3 with Epsom salt and add the ground pepper.
  3. Add olive oil and 6 drops of essential oil.
  4. Mix the ingredients together. If you feel the fragrance needs more pepper or essential oil, add until you see fit.
  5. Print labels and glue to the jar with <3 modge podge

I just made this and it turned out really well. I used coconut oil instead of olive oil and it was awesome. It does have kind of a strong scent so it smells more like coconut/pepper mint. Great post!!

I would suggest using the coconut oil because the olive oil does not smell so great. I was planning on giving this to someone as a gift and its overwhelming with the olive smell. The consistency was nice with Epsom salt though.
