On Trend: Floral Shoes (DIY: découpage shoes)

Probably the easiest DIY with the most rewarding results! Simply decoupage flowers onto your bland shoes, and walk with confidence that you are part of the latest trend.

Here’s how:

  1. Supplies: bland pair of shoes, modge podge, wrapping paper with flowers on
  2. cut the flowers out in different shapes and sizes
  3. Start with the bigger parts, and modge podge the flowers onto the shoe
  4. When the modge podge has dried, paint another layer over for durability
  5. voilà, absolute trendiness!

quick question, i have modge podged/decoupodged a couple of pairs now, love the look, however, i used a matte or gloss finish spray on mine and although they look great, when actually in use the modge podge/finish is cracking.. did this happen to you? do you have a solution? i am going to try and look for a silicone based glue, something that wont crack.. but i thought i cannot be the only person experiencing this…
