Kate Spade’s clutches have lately been featuring too often on my must-have list. And I have stalked their website for latest trends and prettiness. Here’s your easy guide to looking hot this spring (our autumn if you’re in the other hemisphere :D )
Here is the easy How-to guide to creating this beautiful Kate Spade handbag:
- Supplies: A shiny round placemat, all-purpose glue, big beads/faux pearls, pretty ribbon
- apply glue and a little less than ‘n half circle, along the edge of the placemat
- fold the mat in half, leaving a little hole open at the middle edge
- use pegs to hold the mat in place while the glue dries
- add the ribbon and bead to edge with the glue to add a little sparkle
- Voila! much prettiness

Amazing. I would never have thought of using a placemat, but it looks so good!

Wow so cute and super easy. Love the idea!
You’ve done a great job! I’ve also tried-and made a clutch using a placemat and it turned out really cute actually. You can see it here if you want:

I may have to try and make one with a round placemat like you did. Thanks for the tutorial!
Hey,
I started a hair blog timepatienceanddedication.blogspot.com literally days ago and I found your picture on pinterest (sock bun). I used it and gave you credit don’t worry lol. I love reading blogs all night but nothing makes me happier than when I find local blogs. So few South African experiences on the internet. Keep at it I appreciate it.
